Please note: “Lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise”, the following is what we’ve got set up. Circumstances may change so your flexibility and understanding are appreciated! I will highlight any changes in an email if the change becomes necessary.

JULY 20, MONDAY, Barnett Loop Walk. 9:30 am (it may be bumped to 9:00 if it stays warm like it has this week (July 6-13). Meet at Rogue Credit Union at Barnett and N. Phoenix Road. There is ample parking. This loop is about 4.5 miles, great view of the valley. There are some pretty good ups but followed by downs 😊. Please bring water, hat, sunscreen, trekking pole (this is optional). We will eat at El Molecajete Restaurant at 11:30 for lunch. It’s in the Albertson’s shopping center. If you just want to come for lunch, please sign up at 55 or contact Diana.

JULY 21, TUESDAY – POTLUCK after 55.

JULY 25, SATURDAY, BOUNDARY SPRINGS. This is a “most of the day” adventure. A 5-mile round trip (R/T) to the headwaters of the Rogue River. We will eat at Beckies afterwards. There is a 400-foot elevation gain over the 2.5 miles to get to the headwaters. We will meet at the North Fred Meyer parking lot by Taco Bell at 7:30am to car pool and then caravan. I will have handouts with the hike’s information at 55 Live, or you can email me, and I’ll send you a copy.

JULY 28, TUESDAY, BALANCE CLASS BEFORE 55. 9:15am in the room behind the fellowship hall.

JULY 31, FRIDAY, BUNCO. CHUCK AND SUSIE’S CLUBHOUSE 3955 S. STAGE RD, MEDFORD, OREGON. 12:00-3:00ish. This is a summer time potluck. We will eat first and start Bunco at 1:00. Carpool if you can, parking is limited.

AUGUST ACTIVITIES – WE ARE NOT MEETING IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL BUT HAVE ACTIVITIES TO DO SO WE CAN BE TOGETHER. There will be a signup sheet at 55-Live July 14, 21, 28

AUGUST 4, TUESDAY – DOC GRIFFIN PARK, JACKSONVILLE 10-12:00ish Brunch/lunch potluck, with singing and fellowshipping. Bring chairs and your best outside singing voice. If you can bring paper products, drinks please let me know.

AUGUST 8, SATURDAY – ROXY ANN HIKE. Meet at El Tapatio at 1250 Biddle Road at 9:30am. We will carpool/caravan to the 3rdparking lot on Roxy. Or meet us at the 3rdparking lot at 10:00am. This is just under 3 miles. Beautiful views. Dogs are welcome, too. We will eat at El Tapatio afterwards.

AUGUST 11, TUESDAY – HELLGATE JET BOAT. ALL DAY, LUNCH INCLUDED. They have a buy one/get a 2nd ½ off. It rounds out to about $70.00 per person. I need to know by July 24th if you want to go, so I can get us booked. If you find you’re unable to go after you’ve signed up and paid, please find someone to take your place. Please plan on paying me on Tuesday July 28th.

AUGUST 18 ICE CREAM SOCIAL KAREEN’S PLACE, 5:00PM – 7:00. 1501 MINEAR, MEDFORD, OREGON. This is an eat dessert first event! 😊Bring your chairs, homemade ice cream (or store bought), a scoop, OR your favorite toppings or another dessert that goes with ice cream. If you can help set up, please let me know. Worship led by Jeff Bates. Sweet time!!

AUGUST 20-23 – 55 CAMPING FISH LAKE. Please make your own reservations through Recreation.gov. Cabins might be available; you can call the Fish Lake resort. This special place is owned by Christians. Let me know what campsite or cabin you reserve please. IF YOU ARE NOT CAMPING, WE ARE HAVING A 55-LIVE LUNCH TOGETHER ON SATURDAY THE 22ND AT THE FISH LAKE RESORT. 11:00 - COME SPEND THE DAY.

AUGUST 25, TUESDAY – CHUCK AND SUSIE’S CLUBHOUSE – BALANCE CLASS/ESSENTIAL OILS INFORMATION 10:00-12:00PM. Bring a lunch and something for yourself to drink to eat afterwards. We will have some worship time lifting up our voices to our LORD and KING!

AUGUST 29, SATURDAY - CATHEDRAL HILLS, WILD ROSE LOOP TRAIL-- 3 MILES. MEET AT 10:00. Again, maybe 9:30 if it’s hot. Take 238 either direction. Turn onto Espey Road and go straight past the golf course for about ½ mile. There is a sharp curve to the left. STAY LEFT and don’t go straight. After you curve to the left the trailhead parking is directly ahead. We will have lunch afterwards in Grants Pass.
