Hi Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
COMING UP IN APRIL:
1. Friday, April 3 -7:00pm and Saturday, April 4, 2:00pm and 6:00pm. Pilgrim’s Progress, a play. FREE Located at New Song Church 4041 Crater Lake Ave, Medford OR 97504.
2. Monday, April 6, 1:40 pm. A Great Awakening at Tinseltown. Tells the true story set about 30 years before the Revolutionary War. George Whitefield preached the gospel to the masses of the 13 colonies and develops an unlikely friendship with Benjamin Franklin. You can get your tickets online or at the box office. I listened to a great podcast with Greg Laurie talking with the director and lead actor.
3. Saturday, April 11 : “Think Like an Artist” an introductory class on watercolor. Taught by Sharon Beck-Wesner. Chuck and Susie’s clubhouse 10:00-11:30. You can bring a lunch and stay longer to do some painting if you’d like. Contact Susie, Sharon or Diana for more information.
4. Update on Monday, April 13: Michal (Michelle) Caro, a Christian and a financial planner will give us information on a will vs. a trust; how accounts should be titled to protect your loved ones, information on charitable donations and taxes. She is also bringing with her an Estate planning attorney to answer any questions you may have. We will meet at 10:30 at the community center at the Jacksonville Library with lunch at the Bella following.
This weekend may your focus be on Jesus, our Savior, Great High Priest, our Prince of Peace with his mercy, grace and love to last us beyond eternity. And as we think on his death and resurrection may we remember Christ’s obedience, his willing to suffer and die for OUR sins, and the eternal hope, peace and joy his resurrection brings to us. A foundation on which we stand. Hallelujah. Thank you Father, Son and Holy Spirit for YOUR work, and our gift.
