55-ALIVE ACTIVITIES

Upcoming:
October 20th Potluck after 55-Alive. Bring a favorite dish or dessert to share.
Signups for a fall walk, through part of Lithia Park and lunch at Louie’s afterwards Thursday, October 22nd 10:15 meet at the playground area.
Sign up for a walk through Magnadeo, an all-Christian professional art gallery, November 5th, Thursday, 10:30. Lunch afterwards.
HARVEST FESTIVAL
1. Tuesday after 55 on October 27th – Stay and help make scarecrows in the backroom of the fellowship hall. Bring a snack if you’d like. 1-2 hours, stay for a much as you can.
2. Sign up to bring a baked or store-bought dessert: cake, pie, cookies, etc. for the cake walk. Nothing that needs refrigeration. There is no room to store. Please bring on a disposable or non-returnable platter that is wrapped or covered. Please list if there are nuts or dairy in the dessert. We want to make sure the kids can eat what they win.
3. Chili cookoff contest. Grab the information square at the sign-up table if you’d like to make a crockpot of chili for the contest (or not for the contest but you’d like to contribute). You need to contact Auny Muir. Her phone number is on the information square.
4. Volunteer at one of the booths. You will need to fill out a volunteer form if you didn’t last year. If you can fill it out after 55, and hand it to Dan, today, Hannah would appreciate getting them in today. What's left to fill is the 2nd shift is a 5:00pm arrival, 5:30-7:00 work time. See the list of booths at the sign-up table.
***A meeting for volunteers is here in the fellowship hall following the church service on October 25th. It’ll be a short meeting. Hannah can answer questions, and will tell you where to park. I think they are passing out scarves for helpers to wear, and then keep.
I've had a few responses for the trolley and card making/caroling. Please let me know.
