We have worship, we study God's Word, partake in communion, and we pray for one another.

Each 3rd Tuesday of the month we have Potluck and believe me; these ladies can cook :)

55-ALIVE ACTIVITIES FOR AUGUST 2026

AUGUST ACTIVITIES – WE ARE NOT MEETING IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL BUT HAVE ACTIVITIES TO DO SO WE CAN BE TOGETHER.
Please note: “Lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise”, the following is what we’ve got set up. Circumstances may change so your flexibility and understanding are appreciated! I will highlight any changes in an email if the change becomes necessary.

Tuesday, August 25th. 10:00am-12pm. Chuck and Susie's clubhouse 3955 S. Stage Rd., Medford.

BALANCE class and ESSENTIAL OILS information session.

1. Bring your lunch and something for yourself to drink.

2. Dress comfortably and bring a stick to use during the balance section.

3. Carpool if you can.

PLAN:

10-10:30 Opening with prayer before the Balance class

10:30- Singing worship songs

10:45 - Essential Oil class

11:30 Lunch and fellowship!

Please sign up with Janice for the Essential Oil portion. She's bringing some samples and information booklets to pass out.

Saturday, August 29. Meet at the Wild Rose Trailhead in Cathedral Hills, 9:30am.

Lunch afterwards at Growler Guys, 531 NE F Street, Grants Pass, OR 97526

DIRECTIONS:

Take 238 either from Medford or Grants Pass (or any points inbetween). Turn onto Espey Road and go straight past the golf course for about 1/2 mile. There is a sharp curve to the left. STAY LEFT and don't go straight. After you curve to the left the trailhead parking is directly ahead. Parking is somewhat limited so carpooling is helpful.

If you'd like to carpool and are from the Medford area, please let me know. We can meet at Applegate church at 9:00. If you are going to go via I-5, perhaps meeting at Growler Guys and car pooling from there would work.

If you'd like to just take a drive and meet us for lunch I'm estimating we'd be there around 11:30. We will have reservations.

September 1 Tuesday - 55- ALIVE IS BACK IN SESSION. 10:00am with Pastor Dan. YAY!!!

Future events:

We had a great time camping and want to set next year's camping date now. "Lord willin' and the creek don't rise" please mark out Thursday-Sunday, July 29, July 30, 31, out Aug. 1. Thinking about Fish Lake again - there's a great area that could be "taken over". They are separate sites but if I got them all early enough we'd have a great area almost completely to ourselves. Some of the sites have electrical hookups, too. Otherwise, Sugar Pine. Or, we could do both!
