Upcoming activities for July & August

July 1, Wednesday, Espy Trail hike has been MOVED to August. With the upcoming holiday we decided to postpone.

July 20, Monday. 9:30am for hike. Meet at the Rogue Credit Union parking area on Barnett and N. Phoenix Road, Medford. We will walk about a 4-mile loop and eat at El Molcajete Mexican restaurant in the Albertson's Shopping Center about 11:30am. You can join us for lunch if you don't want to do the walk! Just let me know, or sign up at 55.

July 25, Saturday. Boundary Springs (headwaters of the Rogue River). 5 miles round trip. Meet at 7:30am at the North Fred Meyer Parking Lot (near Taco Bell). We will carpool and caravan. Eating afterwards at Beckie's. Bring snacks, water, trekking pole, sunscreen.

July 31, Friday 12:00 - 3:00 Chuck and Susie's clubhouse for Bunco. Summertime potluck.

August

Since we are not meeting in August as a 55 group, we will have some activities and hikes scheduled.

August 4 Tuesday - Picnic at Doc Griffin Park in Jacksonville. 10:00-12:30. Potluck, singing and fellowship.

August 11, Tuesday - Jet Boat trip out of Grants Pass. It's buy-one, get one 1/2 off. Please sign up (or contact me) if you'd like to go so we can reserve the correct number of seats.

August 18, Tuesday. 10-12 Balance Class & Essential Oil Class with lunch afterwards. Chuck and Susie's clubhouse. Balance class and essential oil information get together! Bring a sack lunch.

August 18 - Ice Cream at Kareen's 5:00 pm

August 20-23 - Camping at Fish Lake. Call and make your reservations. Lunch for campers and those who want to spend the day at the Fish Lake Resort on Saturday, the 23rd.

August 25 - Activity TBA We will plan a couple of hikes for August 8 and August 29th.
