Hi Family! It's good to be a part of the family of God!
Here's what we've got going over the next month or so. Signups for the September events will be at 55 on Tuesday, the 15th. October's signups will be starting the 22nd of September.
You can take a picture of events that will be posted on the wall by the exit door or mark your calendars with any or all of these dates.
Tomorrow, the 19th - Roxy Ann walk and lunch afterwards. Two ways to get there:
Meet at 9:30 at the Albertson's Shopping Center on N. Phoenix Rd., near the gas station to carpool OR
meet at 9:50-10:00 at the upper (3rd) parking area on Roxy. We will meander around the base of Roxy and head back to El Molcajeta for lunch - also in the Albertson's shopping center between 11:45-12:00. You are welcome to join us for lunch if you don't want to do the walk.
Sunday, the 20th - Pray and praise 6:00-7:00pm Royal Mobile Estates community building, 1055 N. 5th in Jacksonville.
Tuesday, the 22nd - Balance Class at 9:15 before 55-Live meeting this next Tuesday. "If you have not come before, try it...you just might like it. Like it or not, as we age, we lose muscle, strength, flexibility, and that all affects our balance. BUT we're never too old to build muscle and improve our physical abilities. The movements and exercises we teach are easy and simple even for beginners. To do nothing is to continually slide downhill. Class is 30 minutes long. Wear comfortable clothes and low or no heel shoes. We will be working with hiking/ski poles if you have them, if not we have extra, and our small yellow balls, which we also have extras of those."
Wednesday, the 23rd, 9:00am Punky's for a Women's breakfast. Bring a favorite scripture verse with you.
Saturday, the 26th 4:00pm - 6:30ish - Bowling's house for a "Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall" picnic. Bring a favorite picnic food and come sing around the campfire worshipping our Lord, eat together and fellowship. 3131 Madrona, Medford, OR 97501 Carpool if you can.
A reminder for Sandy Cathcart's art exhibit in Ashland. It ends the 26th of this month. If you haven't seen it please try and get there. It's beautiful.
